This week I made some pieces with bright accents. I have one color loving friend who ordered boys haremshorts with bright yellow and turquoise pockets. Also new divided skirt color in my shop - denim blue soft linen. And I finally took the pictures of my "SHOP GREEN" linen tote bags. I made them about 2 month ago, but have not time to list them in my shop. I love these totes for grocery shopping because they are quite large size and easy to handle.

For those who prefer side pockets not kangaroo front pocket I made denim blue haremshorts with striped side pockets. Looks so comfy and Kārlis think the same, it was so hard to catch my little son in the photos.

ZanziBach new website and little jumping man

This is my first post in new year but I am not going to publish my new years resolution I just let you know that there are some. 

I have some news! If you have not seen yet, I opened my new website on English www.zanzibach.com. 

Also sewed some new linen clothes for boys and girls. Take a look in my Etsy shop.

Now I am working on my little spring/summer collection.

My little boy has become one little jumping man. He loves to jump! We took some nice pictures while he jumps in ZanziBach boys linen costume set.

LAST DAY OF THE YEAR 2013 / PĒDĒJĀ 2013. GADA DIENA

Last day of  year 2013. It is silent in my blog for a while, because of rush in end of the year. Last month I spend in lot of sewing work and develop my little kids clothing line.

Rit pēdējā 2013. gada diena. Kādu laiku mānā blogā ir klusums. Klusums, jo gada beigas kā vienmēr aktīvas un darba pilnas. Pēdējie gada mēneši aizgājuši aktīvi šujot un attīstot manu nelielo bērnu apģērbu zīmolu.

I have received lot of interesting and challenging orders. For example, little girls winter coat from wool. Before that I had sewed 2 coats: one for myself and one for my husband. This one was my first kids coat and first with the hood. This will travel to Norway :). I spend quite a lot of hour to sew it, almost the same as for adults coat.

Pirmssvētku laikā esmu saņēmusi daudz jauku pasūtījumu. Piemēram ziemas mētelītis meitenei, kas man bija kā izaicinājums un zināšanu atsvaidzinājums. Savā šūšanas pieredzes laikā biju uzšuvusi 2 mētēļus: vienu sev, otru vīram. Šis nu ir mans pirmais bērnu mētelītis, kas aizceļos uz Norvēģiju. Sākumā domāju, ka šūšana ritēs ātrak, bet patērētais laiks gandrīz tik pat liels kā pie liela mēteļa šūšanas. Un jā, šis ir viens no maniem pirmajiem konstruētajiem kapučiem - tāpēc izaicinājums :).

I can't imagine Christmas time without concerts in kindergarten. So my niece got snow white linen dress from me. She was snowflake in the kindergarten show.

Un protams Ziemassvētku laiks nav iedomājams bez bērnudārza svētku pasākumiem. Šim nolūkam krustmeitiņa tika pie jaunas balta lina kleitiņas - sniegpārsliņas tērpa, kuru varēs nēsāt arī vasarā.

Often when I prepare gifts, I use different new sewing techniques. This year I made some pot coasters.

Gatavojot svētku dāvanas bieži sanāk izmēgināt jaunas šūšanas tehnikas un nedaudz paeksperimentēt. Lūk tapa katlu paliktnīši no lina.
